Billing

All our clients receive a detailed proposal before any work is done on a website as well as a detailed invoice upon completion of the project. We accept payments in three step billing process*:

1. 20% at the beginning of a project
2. 30% after the completion of the design phase (varies according to project)
3. 50% upon completion of the project

* Payment times negotiable according to project.

Website Marketing Proposals

The proposals we write for Website Marketing are comprehensive and broken down line-for-line, allowing you to choose which marketing methods you'd like us to pursue. We finish all Website Marketing projects with a complete list of all the sites and tools we've registered your website at, giving clients full access and control of the Marketing Campaigns we create for them.

About Us

SunPoweredProductions.com is owned and run by Jonathan Collyer and Shelly McHenry. We provide high quality web design and marketing services. We focus on long term relationships and boast close to a %100 retention of clients after the first project for 5 years running. We are available to make changes to our clients websites and do so in a consistently timely fashion. Our hourly rate is approximately $50/per hour, though we do charge flat rates for specific tasks. We always stay within a stated budget for a specific task. In all circumstances, you will be clearly notified before we incur any additional expense. Our business is based on trust and mutual benefit. This is reflected in the many clients who have been working with us for years. As a result of our frequent return business, we value your success through our services.

Design

You are invited to send us links to websites you like, email us a description or schedule a phone conversation to give us an idea of what you want. We then will create a draft in a graphic format and email it to you for review. We expect there will be some layout and color changes etc. that you will request. We will then create a second draft based on your feedback. You will then have a final opportunity to comment on the second draft before we convert it into a live website. Any additional drafts will cost $50/hour.

If you would like us to design a logo for your business, we will be happy to do so for $100 and $50 for additional drafts. If you have a company logo you would like included in your design, please email it too us before we begin the design.

Implementation

We will create your website using the latest standardized xhtml/css code. Your website will be compatible with the majority of major browsers including Firefox 2&3 and Internet Explorer 6&7. Since different computers and different browsers effect a websites appearance, some of the fonts and minor layout differences may occur between browsers. We will need all homepage text, any specific images and property descriptions emailed to us at this time, though the sooner you get it to us the better.

Review

Once the website is completed, you will have the opportunity to review the site for minor layout changes or text correctness. Whether we make the site live prior to your review or after your final approval is your choice.

The sooner your website is live, the sooner search engines will begin to discover it. It will often take as much as two months for websites to be found by major search engines. However, we will include a link to your site in our portfolio which will speed up the process.

Wrap up

At this time we would like to schedule a phone conversation to discuss your future plans for the website.

Targeted marketing seems to be an obvious need. We can talk about techniques you can do on your own or ideas we can help you with to achieve meaningful results from your website.

We track all our clients web traffic using Googles comprehensive Analytics application. We can set you up with your own Analytics account for an additional $25.

We will send you an invoice for the full amount (larger projects usually have a start fee and a percentage at certain milestones) and expect payment by check within a two week period.

We will be available for maintenance at our hourly rate into the future.
