• Grand Effects

  Grand Effects designs custom Outdoor Fire Features for Commercial and Residential Properties. We initially made improvements to their pre-existing Flash based website, but encouraged them to abandon a "Flash only" design to take advantage of the improved SEO and many features of a Joomla based website. The new website features a Flash slide show on the home page and a photo gallery using a "lightbox" style display feature. Grand Effects has made good use of a newsletter component to notify their opt-in mailing list of over 1300 about new products and other relevant periodic information.

• Independent Distributors of Electronics Association

  Independent Distributors of Electronics Association (IDEA) is the leading resource for independent distributors to find relevant quality information and to participate in advancing industry ethics, ensuring customer satisfaction, establishing standards, and promoting education. We transfered and organized the content from an older content management system (CMS), Mambo, to a new site created with a more current Content Management System. The new site included transferring 700 registered users, more than 80 pages with various user access levels, product purchases made with PayPal, and nearly 100 links to articles in other websites. With all the old content input into the existing site, IDEA's new content management system will allow them to increase their website's functionality to their employees and members.

• American Sports Bra

  American Sports Bra creates patented sports bras and bathing suits that use a special two bras in one design that supports women and allows them to look great. This website challenged us with its desire to reflect the simplicity and invigorating nature of the bra with the design and layout of the website itself. The site features search engine friendly content links and a back-end content management system that will allow American Sports Bra to add new retailers and other content items themselves. • Stone Green Studios

  Stone Green Studios transforms high quality concrete into beautiful landscape features which give the illusion of being made of bark and stone. We took the challenge of creating a website that could match the talent of their craft and used many of their gorgeous photographs to construct the custom Joomal templates needed to implement the design. Their website uses an opacity setting supported by most modern browsers, but not by IE6 and below. We built the site so that, while it won't look as good as it would in IE7 and Firefox, it will still be a beautiful website in IE6.

• CPS Certification

  CPS Certification provides cleanroom testing and cleanroom evaluation services to the cleanroom industry. We began our relationship with CPS Certification in 2005 by making some small changes to their existing website. Soon after we did a basic redesign of their website. As their business grew, we re-assessed their webiste. In early 2007 we produced a SEO optimized custom website. CPS Certification has done a good job of exchanging links with other websites in their industry. Doing so not only brings referral traffic to their website, but also improves their websites standing with search engines.

• Scottish Renaissance Festival

  This June The Scottish Renaissance Festival of Santa Cruz encourages you to don your bodice or kilt and pack your bagpipe to come experience the music, engage in impromptu theatrical performance, salute the Queen and raise a glass at Santa Cruz counties own annual renaissance event. The proceeds go to the Charity Events non-profit organization. For the past few years, Sun Powered Productions has sponsored our authentic period costumed friends, updating and redesigning a website to suite their Renaissance needs. The truth is, from our first irish fiddle tune to our first taste of mead we have become "renies" ourselves. This year's site features CSS and PHP coding with a cry of "freedom" and a longing for those rolling hills of the Scotland.

• ABC Limos

  ABC Limos is a quality limousine rental agency based out of Santa Cruz, CA. We reduced their monthly hosting fees by more than 2/3rds by moving them to our hosting service. We produced their Joomla based website and worked with a company called Livery Coach to integrate a .asp based registration system.

• The Pure Spirit

  The Pure Spirit opened for business in November of 07, offering high quality clothing made from sustainablily grown organic materials. This website is wholely owned by SunPoweredProductions.com This ZenCart based SSL encrypted shop site features payment methods using Paypal Website Payments Pro and Google Checkout, a lightbox style image display feature, an automated Froogle feeder, Search Engine Friendly design and various administrative improvements. Regrettably, in August of 2008, the wholesalers terms became prohibitive. We delisted our ~150 products and have put the site into dormancy until we establish a new product line.

• Djembe Kan

  Djembe Kan teaches West African Drum and Dance classes to the Monterey area both locally and abroad. Every January they take a new group of energetic students to Senegal, West Africa for the immerseive experience of West African drum and dance traditions. We produced this version of their website in 2006, trying to capture the vibrant colors of the Senegalese culture. We produced the video using assorted clips from students who went to Senegal in 2005.
