Select the radio button next to the hosting account you want to set up Joomla in and select the Continue button. Chapter 5, Set Up Joomla 7
Step 9
Enter a description for the database. Something like, "My Joomla Database" will be fine. Then enter a password between 7-14 characters containing at least one lower case letter, one upper case letter and one number. Most Joomla website administrators will not directly access their database with this information. However, we still recommend that you save the database username and password for your records. Select "Next". Chapter 5, Set Up Joomla 8
Step 10
Under "Choose Directory" erase "joomla" from the end of "http://www.yourdomainname.com/joomla". This will ensure that Joomla is installed in the root of your web domain and not in a subfolder. Select "Next". Chapter 5, Set Up Joomla 9
Step 11

Under "Configuration" you will select the administrator name and password that you will use to administer your Joomla website. It is very important that you keep records of this information in order to complete this tutorial. Use "admin" for your "Admin Name". It is better to use "admin" for now and change it later. Enter a password and your preferred email address.

Do not select "Yes, Install the Joomla Sample content". If you do install the sample content, you will require the additional step of removing all the sample content in order to complete this tutorial. When you are ready, select "Finish"
